Alicante March for Jesus – 2016

[dropshadowbox align=”none” effect=”lifted-both” width=”90%” height=”” background_color=”#f4f2e6″ border_width=”1″ border_color=”#dddddd” ]On Saturday 11th June, more than 3,000 people marched through the city of Alicante.

The people were not protesting against anything; or promoting anything; they were just letting the people of Spain know that they were praying for the country. The main slogan was:

España, oramos por ti (Spain, we are praying for you).

The march was organised (as in the past few years) by FRAPA (La Fraternidad de Pastores de Alicante).

The march included members of many denominations of Evangelical Churches in the Alicante province; including Churches from Torrevieja.

Roy Davies (pastor of the English-speaking Torrevieja Christian Fellowship) said that

“…it was a great privilege to be asked to pray for this beautiful country of Spain during the March.”

TCF will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in November.
